Kurt Johnson Joins MISMO Board of Directors
MISMO®, the real estate finance industry standards organization, announced Kurt Johnson, Executive Vice President and Chief Risk and Compliance Officer with Mr. Cooper, Dallas, joined the MISMO Board of Directors.
In his role at Mr. Cooper, Johnson runs the company’s risk management framework, which includes oversight of operational, regulatory, reputational, market, liquidity, and cybersecurity risks. In joining the MISMO Board of Directors, he will help advise MISMO on its work to develop and deploy essential standards and innovative resources that solve the industry’s highest priority business challenges.

MISMO Board members represent a cross-section of the residential and commercial real estate finance industry. Board members are responsible for overseeing MISMO’s standards activities and serve two-year terms. MISMO committee chairs serve as ex-officio representatives on the MISMO Board.
