Bill Would Allow Mortgage Lenders to Work Remotely on Permanent Basis

By a vote of 38-1, the Kansas Senate passed legislation last week that would update the Kansas Mortgage Business Act to make the allowance of remote mortgage loan work permanent. Gov. Laura Kelly is expected to sign the legislation soon.
