Ascendant National Title Names Theresa Root SVP of National Operations
Ascendant National Title, Denver, hired Theresa Root as Senior Vice President of National Operations, responsible for managing operations, process and workflow for the company’s title and closing operations.
Root has more than 29 years’ experience in local operations management, large scale complex operations, vendor management and process improvement. Prior to joining Ascendant, she served as Vice President of Operations for Solidifi Title. She has also served as Arizona Operations Manager for OS National and Vice President and Senior Director at Stewart Title successfully leading national operations teams and CRM teams.
Kelly Booth Joins Mortgage Cadence as Senior Vice President of Sales
Mortgage Cadence, Denver, named Kelly Booth as a Senior Vice President of Sales.
Booth has more than 30 years of experience. Prior to joining Mortgage Cadence, she served as Vice President of Enterprise Sales at SitusAMC. She also brings years of experience in sales, marketing, management, strategic planning and product design concentrated on financial software services for companies such as Roostify, Ellie Mae, Wolters Kluwer and others.
Kukun Hires Matt Nichols as Vice President of Engineering
Kukun, Menlo Park, Calif., appointed Matt Nichols to lead product engineering, responsible for all functions of the engineering team to ensure the company is positioned to execute new products and reach business goals.
Nichols joins Kukun after spending nearly 16 years at Expedia, where he worked in multiple roles in the company’s engineering group.

Cherry Creek Mortgage, Denver, named Paul Yarborough vice president of IT operations, where he will oversee Cherry Creek’s technology infrastructure and strategy.
Yarborough more than 20 years’ experience managing cross-functional IT operations groups and ensuring compliance and stability of infrastructure systems. He most recently served as director of global IT infrastructure and cloud at Sitel Group, a global customer service and technical support provider. Prior to that, he served as director of infrastructure and operations at Comcast.
Panorama Mortgage Group Names Ryan Rathert Chief Financial Officer
Panorama Mortgage Group, Las Vegas, hired Ryan Rathert as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for PMG’s financial activities including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, investor relations, internal audit, and treasury – while keeping in mind the overall strategy and growth goals to hit the company’s financial metrics.
Rathert has more than 15 years in mortgage leadership roles. He spent the past eight years with Stearns Lending in a variety of positions, the past four as COO/CFO of the Wholesale Mortgage Channel. His previous roles included Production CFO, Head of Private Label Operations and several senior finance and business support roles for Stearns Lending, Wells Fargo and Mr. Cooper.
