Better.com, the controversial mortgage fintech helmed by former investment banker/tech mogul Vishal Garg, posted a stunning $221.4 million loss in the first quarter, according to updated Securities and Exchange Commission documents filed Thursday morning by Better’s merger partner, Aurora Acquisition Corp.
