Guild Mortgage Names Victoria Garcia DeLuca Vice President of Marketplace Diversity Strategy
Guild Mortgage, San Diego, named Victoria Garcia DeLuca as vice president of marketplace diversity strategy to lead the company’s initiatives to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in lending.
DeLuca will lead Guild participation in organizations focused on diversity and inclusion, including the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, the National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America and other industry minority groups. She will represent Guild with the Mortgage Bankers Association supporting the Home for All Pledge, the industry’s long-term commitment to a sustained and holistic approach to address racial inequities in housing and any barriers to sustainable homeownership for persons and communities of color.
DeLuca is bilingual in English and Spanish and has nearly 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, including leadership positions creating programs for Hispanic and Black markets in the Midwest and South. Prior to joining Guild, she served nearly three years as senior vice president of Federal Savings Bank, Brentwood, Tenn., where she led a team that focused on supporting homeownership within Hispanic and Black communities. Her other recent leadership roles include serving as area sales manager for more than five years with Wintrust Mortgage, Chicago, and four years as sales manager and diverse segments specialist, with Wells Fargo, also in Chicago.
Sagent Appoints Courtney Thompson as Chief Product Officer
Sagent, King of Prussia, Pa., appointed Courtney Thompson as Chief Product Officer. She will lead and expand product development to refine and grow Sagent’s vision organically, as well as through partnerships and M&A.
Thompson has led mortgage fintech innovation, digital transformation, servicing and regtech strategy for nearly two decades. Her fintech management consulting firm, Consigliera, has advised top servicers and fintechs on these matters, and previously, she was head of default servicing at Flagstar, where she rebuilt a modern tech stack to give the bank’s consumers compassionate, responsive experiences. While at Flagstar, she also ran its popular fintech accelerator program.
ReverseVision Hires Steve Butler as Director of Business Development
ReverseVision, San Diego, hired Steve Butler to the company’s sales team. He will educate lenders on the opportunity with reverse mortgage products and introduce the ReverseVision Exchange loan origination system to traditional lenders that are looking to add reverse products.
Butler brings more than 35 years of experience to the company. Prior to joining ReverseVision, he spent more than a decade at mortgage compliance software provider QuestSoft where he spurred the company’s sales and business development efforts for a leading mortgage product. He also worked for mortgage technology companies, lending entities and consulting firms.

Cherry Creek Mortgage Hires Lisa Gibbs as Vice President of CRM Technologies
Cherry Creek Mortgage, Denver, hired Lisa Gibbs as vice president of CRM technologies, where she will oversee the company’s global customer relationship management strategy. She will work with Cherry Creek’s technology team to implement Salesforce throughout the company. She will also partner extensively with the company’s sales, marketing, operations, training and leadership teams to execute Cherry Creek’s mission and a roadmap for its CRM goals.
Gibbs brings more than 20 years overseeing enterprise system implementations and driving transformational initiatives. She has helped several large companies adopt and leverage Salesforce and consolidate many different technology platforms into the Salesforce ecosystem. Gibbs most recently served as chief strategy officer and principal at Dietrich Partners, a nationally recognized management consulting firm. She previously served as vice president of technology at Thomson Reuters.
HUD Appoints 4 New Members to Housing Counseling Federal Advisory Committee
HUD announced four new members to the Housing Counseling Federal Advisory Committee. These new members complement the Committee’s existing eight members, bringing membership back to the full 12 members authorized by statute. These new members represent the mortgage industry, the real estate industry, consumers and HUD-approved housing counseling agencies.
The following new Committee members announced today will serve three-year terms:
• Gabe Del Rio, President and Chief Executive Officer, Homeownership Council of America
• Daniel Garcia, Vice President/Senior CRA Lending Officer, First Horizon Bank
• Angie Liou, Executive Director, Asian Community Development Corporation
• Richard Verrillo, Director of Business Development, Navicore Solutions

HUD established the Housing Counseling Federal Advisory Committee in April 2015 to advise HUD’s Office of Housing Counseling on how to carry out its functions. The Committee provides a forum for those involved in housing counseling to offer advice directly to the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Housing Counseling David Berenbaum on ways to accomplish the objectives of HUD’s Office of Housing Counseling.
