Together Again…Safely

For the first time in two years, the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Annual Convention & Expo is taking place in person, October 17-20 in San Diego. MBA is committed to creating a healthy and safe environment for all attendees. MBA will adhere to all local COVID safety guidelines and will notify attendees of any mandatory requirements.

Current guidelines include the following:

MBA Annual Convention attendees must provide proof of vaccination or negative test result taken within 72 hours of arrival or 3 days prior to badge pickup. According to the Centers for Disease Control, a person is considered fully vaccinated:

–2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, or

–2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

Attendees are NOT required to wear masks within the San Diego Convention Center. However, you are encouraged to wear a mask if you prefer to do so or are not vaccinated.

All Attendees: Upon first arrival at the San Diego Convention Center, attendees must stop first at the COVID SAFETY CHECK to present their proof of vaccination or negative test with their photo ID. Once they pass through the COVID SAFETY CHECK, you may proceed to the Registration Desk to receive their registration badge. Your badge is your proof of vaccination/negative test and must be worn at all times within the Convention Center. Entrance into Concert MBA will require your badge and photo ID. Please note that guest passes are NOT available for Concert MBA this year.
