Pontiac-based United Wholesale Mortgage is the subject of dozens of comment threads on the Reddit forum in the past week, many contending that its stock is undervalued and that if enough amateur investors begin buying the stock, short sellers will get “squeezed” and lose money. Several posters claim to have recently bought $100,000 to $200,000 in UWM stock.
