Call for Speakers: MBA Regulatory Compliance Conference, Deadline July 2
The Mortgage Bankers Association issued a Call for Speakers for its Regulatory Compliance Conference, taking place Sept. 12-14 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C. Speaker proposals are due Friday, July 1.
Specifically, speaking proposals are open for breakout sessions. This conference attracts more than 500 industry professionals, including compliance officers, inside and outside counsel and others focused on regulatory compliance issues.
Submit your speaker proposal for yourself or a colleague by Friday, July 2. Provide the speaker’s area of expertise and abbreviated biography to be considered as a panelist on any breakout session. If you prefer to propose a topic, submit a session proposal and provide a session title, description, moderator’s name and proposed panelists.
Session and speaker proposals are being collected for the following topics:
–Litigation Forum – a series of presentations on today’s top mortgage litigation issues
–Certified Mortgage Compliance Professionals Track – foundational sessions in mortgage compliance topics
–Applied Compliance Track – presentations of fact patterns with expert analysis
–Regulatory Trends – today’s hottest topics, including any pending rule changes, data security, post-pandemic issues
–Or submit your own!
Please note: Speaking opportunities are an MBA member benefit. If your proposal is accepted, you will be notified by August 15. Speakers must be registered to attend the conference and will receive a discounted rate.
