Lawmakers Propose Tax Credit for Struggling Homes and Businesses

Sens. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, and Ben Cardin, D-Maryland, who are both members of the Senate Finance Committee, introduced a bipartisan bill Thursday, the Neighborhood Homes Investment Act. It is supported by a number of organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and the Mortgage Bankers Association.
