Loan Officer Admits Taking Part in Widespread Mortgage Fraud Scheme

Isaac DePaula, a former loan officer on the run for years, admitted Monday he took part in a long-time mortgage fraud scheme that ripped off millions of dollars from banks. DePaula, who worked for Woodbridge-based Premier Mortgage Services, received a commission for each loan he closed.
