MISMO’s Jan Davis Receives HousingWire Woman of Influence Award

MISMO®, the real estate finance industry’s standards organization, announced Vice President of Operations Jan Davis received a HousingWire 2021 Woman of Influence award.

“Jan has been instrumental in MISMO’s work to speed the development of industrywide standards that benefit mortgage market participants of every size and business model by improving the integration and flow of data across the entire industry,” said Seth Appleton, President of MISMO. “Her influence extends across our industry from our volunteers from more than 200 member companies to our industry events and webinars and our work on more than 75 industry standards.”

The Women of Influence award honors 100 women shaping and propelling the mortgage, real estate and fintech industries forward. Influencers are selected based on their professional achievements within their organizations, and contributions to the overall industry, community outreach, client impact and personal success also factor into the committee’s decision.

Davis is a leader in the mortgage finance industry with experience managing standards development, mortgage operations and data warehousing activities. For the past several years she has led the transformation of MISMO into a well-known and widely participated in standards organization and has helped put MISMO at the center of the industry’s digital transformation efforts. Prior to joining MBA, Jan was Director of Single-Family Loan Operations at Fannie Mae. She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information Systems and a Master of Accounting degree from Virginia Tech.
