Mortgage Rates are Pushed Higher by Strong Employment Data

After falling four of the past five weeks, mortgage rates reversed course and moved higher. According to the latest data released Thursday by Freddie Mac, the 30-year fixed-rate average climbed to 2.87 percent with an average 0.7 point. (MBA mention)
