MBA Annual20: Training and Education Updates

MBA members looking to advance in their careers and gain industry knowledge will appreciate changes going on with the organizations training and education.

“It’s been very important for us to keep these opportunities available and accessible,” says David Upbin, MBA Vice President of Education Operations, Programming and MBA Strategy.

Special attention was given to the instructor-guided courses members need to earn their Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) or Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB). The content of those courses will be very similar to the in-person courses but has been “modified and extended” to take advantage of an online delivery.

“We’ve added more opportunities for interactivity — like with polls and group chats — to keep people focused and engaged,” Upbin said.
