U.S. Fed Buys $1.9 Billion of Mortgage Bonds, Sells None

The Federal Reserve bought $1.876 billion of agency mortgage-backed securities in the week from Jan. 2 to Jan. 8, compared to none purchased the previous week, the New York Federal Reserve Bank said on Thursday.
