MBA Condominium Lending Workshop in D.C. July 18

The Mortgage Bankers Association’s annual Condominium Workshop takes place Thursday, July 18 at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C.

Condo lending is more complex than single-family lending and demands specialization by mortgage lenders since not only potential borrowers and units but whole projects must be assessed. This workshop is intended to bring together the strategic leaders and managers of condo lending and project approval groups with other experts, including government agency and GSE leadership.

Through panel presentations, discussions and interactions with the audience, the workshop will provide up-to-date information on markets, project approval guidelines and risk management. Overall, the workshop will identify challenges and opportunities on the horizon and facilitate networking within this unique part of the industry.
