MISMO Publishes Business Reference Model Published for 60-Day Member Comment Period
MISMO announced release of its Business Reference Model for a 60-day member comment period through Sept. 29.
The Business Reference Model, also referred to as “B-Ref,” is a high-level business model depicting common activities that may occur over the life of a loan. Included in B-Ref is the MISMO Life of Loan process model.
The Life of Loan is a subset of B-Ref that enables business professionals and others to access information about MISMO products within the context of a specific business process. It includes descriptions of business activities presented in an easily consumable, business friendly format.
The new Business Reference Model will be available for MISMO member comment until September 29. Industry participants who have comments or questions about the Business Reference Model can contact MISMO at info@mismo.org.
The comment period is also intended to afford work group participants who worked on the proposed Business Reference Model and related Life of Loan models at least 30 days’ notice prior to final release to review the model and disclose any applicable Patent Rights (as defined by MISMO’s 2018 Intellectual Property Rights Policy). Disclosures and comments should also be directed to info@mismo.org.
At this time, MISMO also requests that organizations disclose in writing (to info@mismo.org) any patents and patent applications that might be infringed by an organization that uses or is compliant with the MISMO Business Reference Model.
