The Mortgage Bankers Association’s latest Washington Update features MBA Associate Vice President of Legislative and Political Affairs Meghan Sullivan, who reports on three key developments from the past week.
Sullivan discusses the MBA Mortgage Action Alliance Action Week currently underway (May 14-18); the announcement by House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., to take under consideration S. 2155, a regulatory relief bill that has MBA support; and a recent MBA letter to the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (formerly the CFPB) on Bureau rules of practice for adjudication proceedings.
