Find Out Where You Stand through the PGR: MBA and STRATMOR Peer Group Roundtables Program

Since 1998, the Mortgage Bankers Association and STRATMOR Group have jointly conducted the Peer Group Survey and Roundtable Program. This program creates a forum for participating mortgage banking companies to review their financial results and operating practices in relation to their peers.

Launch date for the next program (data through Dec. 31, 2018) is Jan. 15, 2019.

The PGR program–which consists of a detailed survey as well as face-to-face roundtables for seven different peer groups–provides detailed performance metrics such as:

–Production volume by loan type
–Production revenues and expenses for four channels: Retail, Broker Wholesale, Correspondent and Consumer Direct
–Breakdown of sales versus fulfillment costs by production channel
–Production support/post-closing costs and personnel
–Personnel and other costs related to technology and corporate allocations
–Systems/vendors used for more than 40 different functions; company profiles and operating models

Just as importantly, it provides anecdotal feedback and perspectives on these metrics that only come from moderated discussions with peers of similar size and operating models. Through survey results and roundtables, you will gain insights on performance gaps and ways to improve profitability and efficiency.

What our PGR participants value most about the program:
–Data analysis as it relates to their business peers, as well as to other peer groups that represent competition
–Information and interaction that enables senior management to strategically evaluate; rethink; reposition
–Increased knowledge of the competitive market landscape
–A forum to share best practices and gain insights
–The ability to operationalize regulatory change

For small and mid-size lenders and banks, we offer the PGR program only once per year–don’t miss out.
