MBANow: MBA Chairman-Elect Chris George on MAA Action Week

The Mortgage Bankers Association released a new MBANow video featuring MBA Chairman-Elect Chris George, who discusses the upcoming MAA Action Week (May 14-18).

The Mortgage Action Alliance is MBA’s grassroots advocacy arm. MAA Action Week (www.mba.org/actionweek) is a recruitment effort aimed at growing MAA membership to 30,000 and increasing the number of downloads on the MAA mobile app to 5,000.  

“The best way for MBA members to make an impact is to join the Mortgage Action Alliance,” George said. “You get your voice heard throughout the process of letting our legislators and regulators know how decisions that they make may affect the individuals in your organizations.”  

George, President and CEO of CMG Financial, San Ramon, Calif., said MAA is the best ways for MBA members to keep informed on what’s going on in the marketplace. “That could mean the difference between one person’s livelihood and another’s,” he said.
