NAMMBA CONNECT in Atlanta Apr. 12-14
The National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America will hold its annual CONNECT Conference in Atlanta Apr. 12-14.
The Mortgage Bankers Association, United Wholesale Mortgage and XINNIX the Mortgage Academy are title sponsors of NAMMBA Connect.

All three groups will be on full display at NAMMBA’s CONNECT 2018 conference April 12-14 when real estate finance professionals gather in Atlanta to hear from leaders about the state of the industry. The conference, at the Westin Buckhead hotel, will spotlight experts discussing a wide array of topics, from offering an economic outlook for 2018 to giving tips on conquering the builder market.
Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Mel Watt, will keynote the Conference. MBA President and CEO David Stevens, CMB, will provide an update on the state of the industry. Additionally, Matt Ishbia, UWM president and CEO, will lead a session on the re-emergence of the wholesale broker; and Nima Ghamsari, CEO of Blend, will deliver a keynote address on the future of fintech in lending.
NAMMBA CONNECT will also feature an awards gala honoring the Top 100 women and minority originators across the country, as well as recognizing the Top 25 Best Places to Work for women and minorities in real estate finance industry.
Also on tap is the ForHer conference, in association with the MBA’s mPower initiative. The conference within a conference will feature the MBA Chief Operating Officer Marcia Davies as event moderator and Lisa Skeete Tatum, founder of women’s professional development platform Landit, as the keynote speaker.
