MBANow: Arch Global Mortgage Group CEO Andrew Rippert

The Mortgage Bankers Association released a new MBANow video featuring Arch Global Mortgage Group CEO Andrew Rippert, who discussed diversity and inclusion at the recent MBA Annual Convention & Expo in Denver.

Rippert, a member of the MBA Board of Directors, said Arch Global works hard to recognize and encourage gender diversity. “Women are at least half of the population; why are they so under-represented in the workforce?” he said. “There should be a greater proportion.” He said with women’s input in the management and strategic processes, “we make better, smarter, more effective decisions that bring a broader perspective.”

As a CEO, Rippert said it is important to embrace diversity and inclusion at the top levels of senior management. “We think it’s a very important corporate principle,” he said. “We’re always looking to expand the demographic makeup of our employee ranks. We have found we really, truly do, in a meaningful way, get better decisions, better thought processes and better outcomes when we are more inclusive.”
