MBA Education Understanding the New HUD 2530 Rules Webinar May 23

MBA Education presents a webinar designed to boost FHA lenders’ understanding of  HUD notice H2016-15: Processing Guide for Previous Participation Review of Prospective Multifamily Housing and Healthcare Programs’ Participants.

The webinar will take place on Tuesday, May 23 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. ET.

Last October HUD issued Notice H2016-15: Processing Guide for Previous Participation Review of Prospective Multifamily Housing and Healthcare Programs’ Participants. This webinar will address the three focus areas set forth in the notice, specified capacity/controlling participants, organizational charts and flags.

While HUD has the authority to make the ultimate decision in which individuals and/or entities can be a specified capacity and a controlling participant, the lender must be confident in their recommendation to the lender. This webinar will help the lender interpret the notice and explore layers of ownership to identify the appropriate individuals and entities. Organizational charts and what is required to be contained within each chart will be reviewed and sample organization charts will be analyzed. Flags used in the APPs system and the process to have flags removed will also be reviewed.

Attendees should expect to:
–Discover which changes will affect reporting for your organization and your business partners
–Analyze organization structures, principals, and reporting requirements
–Learn about the impact on existing transactions and what actions you may need to take now

Speakers:
Denise Murphy Edwards, Principal with Murphy Consulting LLC
