Dealmaker: G.S. Wilcox & Co. Arranges $50M for Office, Industrial Assets
G.S. Wilcox & Co., Morristown, N.J., arranged $49.7 million for eight New Jersey office and industrial properties.
In Morristown, firm President Gretchen Wilcox, Principal Al Raymond and Senior Associate Wesley Wilcox arranged $19 million for 1776 On the Green, a Class A multi-tenant office building totaling 363,000 square feet secured the loans.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Minneapolis, supplied the seven-year loan.
The 10-story Class A includes 145,000 square feet of rentable space currently 79 percent leased and 1,150 square feet of storage space.
The debt-placement team secured a 10-year loan from Mutual of Omaha, Omaha, Neb.
Gretchen Wilcox and Raymond also arranged $24.7 million in financing across two transactions for Hartz Mountain Industries, New York. Two warehouse properties in Hanover and Secaucus,
The firm also secured $6 million for a five-building industrial portfolio in Orange, N.J. Gretchen Wilcox said most of the properties have 22-foot ceiling heights and all five total more than 115,000 square feet. She said the private equity lender saw potential to increase the value of the subject portfolio.
“The adaptable properties are located in close proximity to multiple major thoroughfares and will be a crucial asset in northern New Jersey’s thriving industrial market,” Gretchen Wilcox said.
