MBANow: Fisher Discusses Updated MBA Mortgage Finance Forecast

The Mortgage Bankers Association released a new MBANow video on YouTube featuring MBA Vice President of Research & Economics Lynn Fisher, who discusses the updated MBA Mortgage Finance Forecast.

Fisher discusses what’s in store for 2017, 2018 and beyond noting that the housing market is in transition from a refinance market to a purchase market. She also discusses the frequency in which the Federal Open Market Committee might raise the federal funds rate this year and in future years.

Additionally, Fisher talks about other economic factors that could come into play in the coming year to further muddle the process.
