MBA Education Compliance Essentials HMDA Implementation Workshop Mar. 29

MBA Education and the MBA Compliance Essentials program present their popular HMDA Implementation Workshop on Wednesday, Mar. 29 from 8:00 a.m.-4:45 p.m. CT at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

The Workshop takes place in conjunction with the MBA National Technology in Mortgage Banking Conference & Expo (Mar. 26-29).

Please join MBA and the Compliance Essentials program for a full-day workshop on the new Home Mortgage Disclosure Act rule. This extensive rule, finalized by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in October 2015: (1) significantly expands the number of entities, especially non-banks, required to report; (2) requires the reporting of numerous new data points on borrowers and their mortgages while modifying many others: and (3) changes the format and tools used for reporting.

Building off of the information provided in the 2016 workshops and at MBA conferences, this HMDA Implementation Workshop will take a fresh look at latest news, strategies and pain points surrounding implementation. A panel of MBA and industry experts, including the CFPB, will give you the information and tools your company needs to ensure that you are taking the appropriate steps to mitigate Fair Lending risk, improve data accuracy and establish self-testing plans so you fully understand how your data will look to regulators.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from, and ask questions to both legal professionals as well as compliance and operations personnel who are managing the implementation process and procedures in their organizations. Held at the tail end of MBA’s National Technology in Mortgage Banking Conference & Expo, this workshop is a great opportunity to have both technology staff and compliance staff come together to ensure everyone in your company is on the same page.
