MBA Education Collateral Underwriting Workshop in L.A. Sept. 28
MBA Education presents its popular Collateral Underwriting Workshop (previously known as the Successful and Error-Free Appraisal Underwriting Workshop) on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at the JW Marriott at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, in conjunction with the MBA Risk Management and Quality Assurance Conference (Sept. 28-30).
Join MBA Education for a one-day workshop designed to cover the overall aspects of appraisal underwriting for conventional and government loans. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in an open forum to discuss appraisal analysis and best practices for leveraging technology.
As an added bonus, Fannie Mae will be a featured speaker to provide an overview of Collateral Underwriter and answer questions. This workshop will help improve your decision making ability, loan file quality and increase productivity throughout the processing and underwriting process.

–Recognize red flags in exhibits and market conditions
–Understand how to apply common sense and secondary market requirements to comparables
–See appraisal trends from Fannie Mae’s analysis of more than 20 million appraisals submitted to UCDP
–Separate fact from fiction on Fannie Mae property eligibility and appraisal policies
–Understand the Collateral Underwriter application including the score, flags and messages
–Discuss best practices for lenders and appraisers
