Mortgage Action Alliance Action Week Begins Oct. 3

The Mortgage Bankers Association, in its latest MBANow video, introduces the Mortgage Action Alliance Action Week, which begins on Monday, Oct. 3.

MBA President and CEO David Stevens, CMB, said with a new Administration and new Congress coming to Washington in January, MBA member involvement is needed now more than ever.

“Housing policy is going to be on the agenda–housing issues that affect every one of you, whether you are residential or commercial/multifamily; it makes no difference,” Stevens said.

MAA, the grassroots advocacy arm of MBA, currently has 12,000 members. “That’s the largest that it’s ever been, but smaller than it needs to be,” Stevens said. “We need 15,000 members to make the voice of our industry larger, stronger and more aggressive than ever before, so we can respond as needed when critical issues arise.”
