Commercial Real Estate Update from MBA Senior Vice President Thomas Kim

MBA Senior Vice President of Commercial and Multifamily Thomas Kim stopped by MBANow to give an update on C/MF market developments. 

Kim said the capital markets experienced significant volatility early in 2016. “I think it’s fair to say that this year has been eventful in a number of ways,” he said. 

But Kim noted that overall property fundamentals have remained strong. “Our recent forecast indicates at least moderate growth looking forward,” he said. 

Kim said he has observed a sense of caution in the post-election period. “The current regulatory environment is still creating some uncertainty,” he said.
