U.S. Economy Seen Expanding at 1.8 Percent Rate in Second Quarter: Atlanta Fed

The U.S. economy is on track to grow by a 1.8 percent annualized rate in the second quarter after the government said it expanded at a 0.5 percent pace in first quarter, Atlanta Federal Reserve’s GDPNow forecast model showed on Friday.
