MBA Education presents Mortgage Banking Bound–Careers in Mortgage Lending, with upcoming courses this spring.
The Mortgage Banking Bound curriculum is an initiative to align students at educational institutions and career changers with access to MBA Education programs and products as a career development tool. Enrollment in the program includes participation in a series of 90-minute online webinars that will help participants gain a basic understanding of the residential loan process and the various careers that support it.
Following course completion, student participants who are enrolled in two-year and four-year colleges and universities will be offered a student membership with MBA, which will include deep discounts on MBA educational offerings, access to the MBA Job Board and the opportunity to connect with members who are currently employed in the mortgage banking industry.
Objectives:
- Gain a basic understanding of the residential loan lifecycle
- Gain knowledge about careers in real estate finance and the necessary skills to support it
- Increase interviewing and networking effectiveness
Target Audience:
- Students enrolled at participating two- and four-year colleges considering a career in real estate finance.
- Anyone interested in a career change or in starting a career in the mortgage banking industry.
