JLL Makes Multiple Personnel Announcements

JLL, Chicago, has named Michael Colacino CEO of its Americas Leasing Advisory business.

John Gates has transitioned to executive chairman, Americas Leasing Advisory.

Colacino joined JLL in 2023 as president of Tri-State Brokerage. He has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, including roles at Studley, Savills, Haiku Partners and SquareFoot.

The firm has also named Nina Harlow head of energy and logistics within the Industrials division.

Harlow’s career includes 18 years of leadership experience at JLL, most recently as the Industrial Workplace Management lead.

Craig Both has joined as senior vice president, power origination, for JLL’s Energy Advisory team. He has more than 15 years of experience in renewable energy operation, structured contracting and distributed energy development.

Both was previously senior regional director of origination at Madison Energy Infrastructure, after nearly a decade at NextEra Energy Resources.

And, JLL has appointed David Kristjanson as Global Life Sciences Industry lead for Project and Development Services.

He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the industry. He most recently was at Turner & Townsend/CBRE.

Apprise by Walker & Dunlop Names Nelson Pratt to Lead HUD/FHA Multifamily Valuation Capabilities

Apprise by Walker & Dunlop, Bethesda, Md., announced the launch of a national HUD/FHA multifamily valuation and market study practice group, led by Nelson Pratt, managing director and national HUD practice lead.

Pratt will oversee HUD/FHA appraisal and market study production, strengthen quality control standards and lead team development.

He has more than 20 years of multifamily valuation and consulting experience, and previously worked at Colliers Valuation & Advisory Services and Hodges & Pratt Co.

PACE Loan Group Hires Kathy Boop

PACE Loan Group, Minneapolis, has hired Kathy Boop as vice president of originations in Dallas.

Boop joins PLG from Texas Regional Bank, and has previously worked in project management at several firms, including CBRE and Grubb and Ellis.

She joins Matt Mitchell in Dallas. PLG’s ten originators are based in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, New York, San Diego and San Francisco.

Draper and Kramer Welcomes Jacob Gauptman

Draper and Kramper Commercial Finance Group, Chicago, announced Jacob Gauptman has joined as a producer.

Gauptman has more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate debt, with more than half of that time specializing in FHA/HUD multifamily financing.

Prior to joining the firm, he worked for one of the leading HUD lenders in the U.S.
