Merchants Capital Hires Naureen Dhanani as EVP of Credit and Operations
Merchants Capital, Carmel, Ind., announced the appointment of Naureen Dhanani as executive vice president of credit and operations, a newly established role.
She will oversee Merchants Capital’s Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA credit and closing teams, including the chief appraiser.
She has more than a decade of experience in affordable housing finance, most recently serving as a senior manager at Freddie Mac Multifamily.
SitusAMC Appoints Peter Pasqua to Head CRE Asset Management

SitusAMC, Houston, announced the appointment of Peter Pasqua as senior director, head of asset management, within the company’s Commercial Real Estate Servicing and Asset Management Division.
Pasqua will oversee the firm’s asset management vertical, working to evolve and enhance the platform’s capabilities to better serve clients across the commercial real estate landscape.
He joined SitusAMC in 2023 as part of the company’s CRE Technology Enablement Team and brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate. He previously worked for a family office, as well as Mosaic Real Estate Investors, Crédit Agricole CIB, Alvarez & Marsal, and Portigon AG / WestLB AG.
JLL Announces Multiple Personnel Updates

JLL, Chicago, has announced a number of personnel changes.
JLL’s Value and Risk Advisory platform announced that Scott Smith has joined as a senior director based in Los Angeles. He joins from Curtis-Rosenthal Inc., and has also worked for firms including First Republic Bank and JP Morgan Chase & Co. Smith has more than 20 years of experience in the industry.
JLL’s Energy Advisory and Sustainability team announced that Sean Salas has joined as vice president of energy advisory sales. He will be based in Houston and has significant experience in sales and business development experience. He joins JLL from Galehead Development.
JLL also hired Brian Rappaport for the financial procurement and advisory practice lead for JLL’s Energy Advisory and Sustainability team. He will leverage more than 20 years of experience in energy infrastructure development. Rappaport was most recently at Net Power, and also worked with Nikola Motor Co., BP Energy Co., Natixis, Societe Generale and Morgan Stanley.
