CBRE Announces Multiple Personnel Changes
CBRE, Dallas, announced Henry Chin has been promoted to Global Head of Research.
Chin will lead a team of nearly 600 research experts who help real estate investors and occupiers understand the forces shaping the commercial real estate market.
He most recently served as Global Chief Operating Officer for CBRE Research and Head of Investor Thought Leadership, and has been with CBRE in various roles since 2014. He has previously worked for firms including PGIM, Deutsche Bank Group and DTZ.
CBRE also announced that Scott Schnuckel has joined CBRE as Managing Director of Americas Retail.
Schnuckel will help execute the growth strategy for CBRE’s retail practice.

Previously, he served as Head of Real Estate at Kohl’s.
Gantry Names Doug Thatcher as Senior Director
Gantry, San Francisco, announced it has named Doug Thatcher as Senior Director in the firm’s Seattle production office.
Thatcher will be responsible for developing and serving the client base of borrowers and lenders as a trusted source for placing optimized commercial real estate debt and equity finance structures, loan servicing and related counsel.
He previously worked as a Partner with Northwest Commercial Mortgage and has had a nearly three-decade career in commercial real estate finance.
Blake Fine Rejoins JLL Value and Risk Advisory

JLL, Chicago, announced Blake Fine has joined as an Executive Director in its Atlanta office.
Fine will spearhead business development efforts to drive growth across all asset types under the Value and Risk Advisory platform.
He has more than 20 years of experience and previously worked for JLL as Southeast Region Market Director.
Merchants Bank Welcomes Gavin Nelson

Merchants Bank, Carmel, Ind., announced the hiring of Gavin Nelson as Client Deposit Services Sales Officer to serve the Tampa, Fla., metro area.
Nelson has more than two decades of experience in banking and finance. He previously served as Vice President at the Bank of Tampa.
Nelson has also worked for JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo.
