JLL Makes Board, Personnel Announcements

JLL, Chicago, announced Susan Gore as an independent non-executive member of its board of directors.

She will serve on the Audit and Risk and Nominating, Governance and Sustainability Committees.

Gore has more than 30 years of accounting, auditing and finance experience, including a number of leadership roles at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Additionally, JLL has added Kristen Vosmaer as a Managing Director on the Data Center Work Dynamics team.

He has more than two decades of experience in the data center industry, and was most recently with GLP, a global builder, owner, developer and operator of logistics real estate, data centers, renewable energy and related technologies.

Michael Larsen Joins Merchants Capital as CFO

Merchants Capital, Carmel, Ind., has announced Michael Larsen as Chief Financial Officer.

The company said the new position was created in response to its organizational growth and platform complexity with expansion in low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) syndications, multifamily and healthcare securitizations and growing agency platform.

Larsen has more than two decades of industry experience, most recently as President and Chief Operating Officer at Lument.

Shaya Ackerman

Greystone Adds Shaya Ackerman

Greystone, New York, announced Shaya Ackerman as a new Managing Director.

He will focus on arranging financing for multifamily investors and developers.

Ackerman has almost two decades of experience, and has previously worked for Meridian Capital Group and Eastern Union Funding.

DLA Piper Welcomes Jason Vismantas as Partner in Real Estate Practice

DLA Piper, London, has welcomed Jason Vismantas as a Partner in the firm’s real estate practice.

He will be in the Chicago office.

Vismantas has extensive experience in a wide variety of matters related to real estate, including all aspects of real estate acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, preferred equity arrangements, construction, development, leasing and financing, DLA Piper said.
