Berkadia Announces Personnel News

Berkadia, New York, has announced Damon Rankin as Chief Financial Officer. He assumed the new role July 1.

Rankin previously served as Senior Vice President-Finance., where he focused on finance strategy, benchmarking and new partnerships.

Additionally, Berkadia announced that it added Rob Starrett to its Investment Sales Platform as a Managing Director.

He has more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, and was previously at BWE Investment Sales, an affiliate of Bellwether Enterprise.

JLL Welcomes Will Childs, Brian Spillers

JLL, Chicago, announced it has hired Senior Director Will Childs and Director Brian Spillers in its Value and Risk Advisory platform’s alternatives group.

Childs will focus on providing specialized senior housing valuation and market study services of single asset to large portfolio transactions.

Previously, Childs was a Partner and Executive VP at OHC Advisors.

Spillers will focus on providing valuation services, including going-concern appraisals for properties in the health care sector.

He was previously with CBRE, where he was a Vice President of the Healthcare Valuation and Advisory group.

Lisa Bevacqua Joins CBRE

Lisa Bevacqua has joined CBRE, Dallas, as Senior Managing Director of Investor Portfolio Management, leading Brookfield Properties operated by CBRE.

CBRE has a strategic partnership with Brookfield Properties to deliver property management services across its portfolio.

Bevacqua was previously with Silverstein Properties, where she was Executive Vice President and Head of Asset Management.
