MBA CREF24 Highlight: Sports Talk with Vince Papale
MBA is bringing Philadelphia Eagles legend Vince Papale to THE HUB Stage at MBA’s Commercial/Multifamily Finance Convention & Expo (MBA CREF24) for Sports Talk and Souvenir Football Signing during our Sunday Super Bowl Watch Party.
While Vince Papale did not play football in college, he is best known for being one of only a few players ever selected to play for the NFL from an open tryout and made history by becoming the oldest rookie non-kicker ever in the NFL—a record he still holds. Papale was recently honored by the Eagles and their fans when he was named “Most Outstanding Special Teams Player” during a celebration of the Philadelphia Eagles 75th anniversary.
His remarkable journey to the NFL and his inspiring underdog story has been the subject of several books, documentaries, and the 2006 film Invincible, starring Mark Wahlberg. Hear his truly original story when you join us, February 11 – 14 in San Diego.
