MBA Launches Upgraded CONVERGENCE Site

The Mortgage Bankers Association announced a revamped version of the CONVERGENCE section of its website, aiming to benefit its members and a broader audience.

The section provides a centralized hub for all MBA-related affordable housing initiatives as its activities in the space have continued to expand.

The site includes the following features:

• Dedicated pages for the Affordable Housing Advisory Councils and the Consumer Affairs Advisory Council, providing toolkits, resources and information about MBA’s affordable housing efforts.
• Information about the Affordable Rental Housing Advisory Council and the Affordable Homeownership Advisory Council, including their respective leadership, rosters and charters.
• Links to initiatives such as the Affordable Rental Housing Strategy, Building Generational Wealth Through Homeownership Initiative, the Home for All pledge and its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts.
• The Affordable Housing Policy Agenda and the environmental scans on affordable rental housing and affordable homeownership, which informed the establishment of CONVERGENCE and the Affordable Housing Advisory Councils.

MBA will continue to add affordable housing papers, research and tools for its members and partners and welcomes visitors to explore the updated site.
