Greystone Promotes Eric Welby to CFO

Eric Welby was promoted to Chief Financial Officer for Greystone, New York.

Welby has been with the company for 16 years. He previously served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer. He managed and maintained sound accounting practices at the firm, instilling confidence and transparency in Greystone’s financial reporting, leveraging technology to increase the efficiency of the department and promoting innovation.

Before joining Greystone in 2007, Welby worked for BDO USA.

NewPoint Real Estate Capital Welcomes Mike Ortlip to Originations

NewPoint Real Estate Capital, Plano, Texas, has hired Mike Ortlip as Senior Managing Director.

Based in Charlotte, Ortlip will focus on providing financing solutions to commercial real estate owners on a national basis through NewPoint’s Agency, FHA/HUD, Proprietary and third-party loan programs.

Previously, Ortlip was a Senior Vice President at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital. He worked for the firm and its predecessor companies for 25 years.
