President Biden: Reform LIHTC And Housing Voucher Programs

Toward the end of December last year, The Hill published an opinion post about what President Biden could do about rents and housing costs. Unfortunately, the post hashes together some interesting facts and ideas with misleading points that get repeated over and over again. More importantly, the solution for housing is more housing, not more government intervention in how housing operates and certainly not dumps of more cash on an already bloated housing subsidy system that is building housing very slowly, inefficiently, and at great cost.
