Berkadia Announces New Hires

Berkadia, New York, announced new hires in Richmond, Va., and Atlanta.

Hunter Wood has joined the Richmond office as a Senior Director. Prior to this position, he was at Northmarq.

Mike Cale will be joining as Senior Vice President-Capital Markets in Atlanta. He was previously with Pimco Prime Real Estate.

BWE Adds New Senior Vice President Loan Originators

BWE, Cleveland, announced the addition of four new senior vice president loan originators, as a team in its Birmingham, Ala., office.

Senior Vice Presidents Chris Dyson, Paul Harbor, William Silsbee and John Segrest add expertise providing comprehensive lending solutions for commercial and multifamily investors, developers and property owners to the office.

The team was previously with Grandbridge Capital, and each originator has spent more than two decades in the industry.

Merchants Bank Welcomes New Treasury Management Sales Officer

Merchants Bank, Carmel, Ind., has hired Derek Elston as Treasury Management Sales Officer. He will oversee key consumer and business relationships.

He was previously with United Fidelity Bank.

Additionally, Merchants Bank noted, Elston played basketball at Indiana University and has played professionally in Malta, Portugal and England.

Mary Bruno Joins JLL

JLL’s Value and Risk Advisory Group, Chicago, announced Mary Bruno has joined as the National Director of Agency Due Diligence.

Bruno has more than 28 years of experience in due diligence, and she will build and oversee the due diligence process for Freddie Mac and Frannie Mae assignments.

She most recently was with CBRE.
