BWE Announces Nora Keane as Director of Affordable Housing Analytics
Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital LLC, Cleveland, announced Nora Keane joined the company as its new Director of Affordable Housing Analytics.
Keane brings over 15 years of experience in affordable housing to BWE and will lead the team that supports the firm’s growing affordable housing platform for transactions with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and private placement sources. She assumes the role from Kamara Green, who was recently elevated to the position of National Director of Affordable Housing Production at BWE.
Prior to joining BWE, Keane was the National Affordable Production Manager for Agency Finance at PNC Real Estate, where she managed a team of analysts and oversaw all aspects of initial loan structuring for Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and HUD multifamily affordable housing transactions.
Before she joined PNC’s Agency Finance group in 2015, Keane spent five years with PNC’s Tax Credit Solutions group, supporting the origination of equity investments and debt financing for Low Income Housing Tax Credit properties located primarily in Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico. Before joining PNC, Keane was the Director of Institutional Giving at nonprofit housing organization Foundation Communities and a Project Coordinator at DMA Development Company, both located in Austin, Texas.
John Sikaitis, Commercial Real Estate Data & Analytics Leader, Joins CBRE
CBRE Group announced John Sikaitis, a leader in data and analytics for the commercial real estate industry, joined the company as Senior Vice President, CBRE Platform.
Sikaitis spent 15 years at JLL, where he helped to build their data platform and developed go-to-market broker-support models, including market intelligence products at the point of sale. He also ran a Research-led local-market advisory service and utilized data, analytics, intelligence and technology to drive bespoke market strategies for investors and tenants.
Since 2019, John has been Chief Innovation Officer at Avison Young, where his team developed a CRE data analytics technology platform that has been recognized by Fast Company as one of the business world’s best innovations of 2022.
Sikaitis will partner closely with Sandeep Davé, CBRE’s Chief Digital & Technology Officer, to enhance the company’s Advisory data and market-facing technology and with Richard Barkham, CBRE’s Global Chief Economist to enhance the Research data and platform. He joined CBRE on March 15 and reports to Vikram Kohli, Chief Executive Officer of the CBRE Platform.
Merchants Bank of Indiana Hires Karin Cook as Treasury Management Officer
Merchants Bank of Indiana, Carmel, Ind., hired Karin Cook as Vice President, Treasury Management Officer.
Cook has nearly two decades of experience in the banking industry with success in sales, sales management and business development. Prior to joining Merchants, she served as Vice President, Banking Center Manager for the National Bank of Indianapolis. Before this, she was an Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager at PNC Bank, where she facilitated overall branch profitability and grew net branch contribution by 12% in one year.
In her new role with Merchants Bank, Cook will be responsible for providing financial solutions, managing cash flow needs and working to efficiently streamline the banking process.
