Nicki Hines Joins JLL Retail Corporate Services
JLL appointed Nicki Hines Executive Managing Director, Retail Corporate Services, based in the firm’s Chicago headquarters.
Hines brings more than 30 years of experience to her role providing full-service real estate consulting to global brands and national retailers, including retail concept presentation, strategy development and implementation, site selection analytics and portfolio optimization.
As a partner with GCD Consultants for more than 20 years, Hines has represented global brands including Coach, Microsoft, Nike, Tory Burch and Tiffany & Co. Immediately prior to joining JLL, she was Founder and President of The Hines Group.
Transwestern Real Estate Services Hires Chris Coccaro
Transwestern Real Estate Services announced Chris Coccaro joined the firm’s Tenant Advisory and Workplace Solutions group as Executive Vice President. He will help drive the expansion of Transwestern’s occupier advisory practice in greater Washington, D.C., with a focus on suburban Maryland.
Before joining Transwestern, Coccaro was with JLL for 10 years, representing tenants in leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and expansion-related services.
Coccaro has worked with regional and national organizations including NewPoint Real Estate Capital, Lerch Early Brewer, Northwestern Mutual and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and advised Pandora Jewelry on its U.S. headquarters.
Walker & Dunlop Expands Affordable Housing Platform with New Investment Sales Team
Walker & Dunlop, Bethesda, Md., expanded its affordable housing platform by creating a dedicated affordable investment sales team. The eleven-member team, led by Managing Directors Aaron Hargrove and Eric Taylor, formerly of Greystone Real Estate Advisors, has experience and relationships in the affordable housing space.
The new team of affordable housing specialists has experience that spans affordable housing programs including Section 8, Section 42 LIHTC and Rural Development.
Sheri Thompson, Walker & Dunlop Executive Vice President for Affordable Housing & Investment Management/Proprietary Capital, said the new team will help the company achieve its goal of originating $60 billion of affordable and workforce housing loans by 2025.
Matin Roshan Joins Dekel Capital as Vice President
Matin Roshan joined real estate merchant bank Dekel Capital, Los Angeles, as Vice President, focusing on originating, structuring and executing debt and equity transactions across all property types.
Roshan joined Dekel after four years at Quantum Capital Partners, where he originated more than $400 million in commercial real estate debt. He has experience in securing financing on a variety of complex real estate transactions including the acquisition, refinancing, recapitalization and the adaptive reuse of individual assets and portfolios in hospitality, industrial, multifamily, office and retail.
