BWE Appoints Kamara Green as National Director of Affordable Housing Production

Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital LLC, Cleveland, announced Kamara Green will assume the role of National Director of Affordable Housing Production effective January 1, 2023.

Green currently serves as BWE’s National Director of Affordable Analytics and Sales. In her new role, Green will manage the day-to-day and growth operations of BWE’s affordable platform. She will be supported by Ben Nichols, who will serve as Director of Affordable Housing Operations.  

As National Director of Affordable Analytics and Sales, Green manages the Affordable Analytics team, where she oversees Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and private placement deals. Prior to joining BWE, she served as a Senior Relationship Manager at Freddie Mac for five years, working with lenders and sponsors to structure Targeted Affordable Housing transactions. During that time, she managed mortgage banking relationships and partnered with underwriting, legal and pricing to execute over $1 billion in new originations.

Prior to Freddie Mac, Green spent 12 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Senior Tax Credit Originator, Senior Vice President, and an equity underwriter working with syndicators to identify investments for both proprietary and multi-investor funds.

 JLL Valuation Advisory Adds O’Leary in Chicago

JLL’s Valuation Advisory group hired Jim O’Leary as an Executive Vice President in its Chicago office. He will serve as the industrial lead for the region and focus on driving growth and building out the platform throughout Chicago and the greater Midwest.

O’Leary is an experienced appraiser with more than 20 years in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to JLL, he grew from a Senior Appraiser to First Vice President for another global commercial real estate services firm where he was involved in a variety of asset classes including industrial, multi-housing and student housing. He has been involved in the valuation of a range of assets from Class A institutional assets to smaller owner/user assets and was consistently a top producer with his prior firm. He also focused on business development and was the point of contact for larger regional lenders as well as institutional developers.  O’Leary worked for a range of client types, including mortgage loan underwriting, loan workouts, property and portfolio acquisitions, dispositions, asset securitization and financial reporting purposes.

Williams Mullen Partner Alyssa Carducci Dangler to serve as 2023 CREW Network Global President

Alyssa Carducci Dangler, Partner in Williams Mullen’s Norfolk, Va. office, will serve as Commercial Real Estate Women’s Global President for 2023.

Dangler previously served on the CREW Network board of directors for 2021-2022. She has been a member of CREW Coastal Virginia for more than 13 years where she has served as president (2018) and as a member of its board (2014-2019).

A partner in the firm’s real estate and finance practice and chair of the tax credit practice, Dangler represents clients nationwide on a variety of acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing matters, particularly in the multifamily, hotel, retail, industrial, mixed-use and office sectors. She provides strategic counsel in the development and financing of affordable housing, including low-income housing tax credits.
