Merchants Mortgage Adds Reija Eden, Bryan Neitzelt Correspondent Lending Division
Merchants Mortgage, Carmel, Ind., hired Reija Eden and Bryan Neitzelt as Correspondent Account Executives. They will join the Western Region Sales Division at Merchants Mortgage, focusing their business efforts along the West Coast.
Eden has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, having held various positions at JMAC Lending, Newfi Lending and Carrington Mortgage. She brings a breadth of expertise to her new role, specifically in underwriting, sales production, business development and operations. In her most recent position with JMAC Lending, Eden was responsible for soliciting wholesale and correspondent business throughout the Orange County region.
Before joining Merchants Bank, Neitzelt most recently served as a correspondent account manager at Northpointe Bank in Grand Rapids, Mich. He was responsible for the day-to-day management and support of the division’s client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for client questions and capital market issues. Neitzelt also oversaw submission of new client applications and managed the recertification process for all company clients.
In their new capacities as Correspondent Sales Executives for Merchants, Eden and Neitzelt will be responsible for cultivating relationships with and acquiring new clients primarily in the Western Region of the U.S. They will manage and offer guidance in relation to the purchasing of loans, ensuring high-quality acquisitions that will remain profitable on the secondary market.
AJ Walker Joins Greystone’s CMBS Team in Chicago
Greystone announced AJ Walker joined the firm as a Managing Director in Chicago.
In this role, Walker will focus on originating commercial real estate loans across the U.S.
Prior to joining Greystone, Walker was a Director at Wells Fargo, where he led the firm’s real estate capital markets origination efforts across the Midwest. Prior to this role, he held multiple other positions within Wells Fargo, including as a manager in its CMBS Portfolio Surveillance group, serving as co-lead in Wells Fargo’s CMBS table funding group, as well as previous work in its CMBS securitization group.
Transwestern Investment Group Hires Gary Jaye as Chief Investment Officer
Transwestern Investment Group, Dallas, hired Gary Jaye as Executive Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer.
Jaye will direct TIG’s investments including the Transwestern Strategic Partners Fund series and lead a team of investment professionals. He joined TIG from CBRE investment management, where he served as Head of Logistics for the Americas.
Jaye has completed more than $22 billion of direct investments and more than $7 billion in structured transactions, joint ventures and development projects during his career.
