JLL Names Nashunda Williams Head of DEI
JLL, Chicago, appointed Nashunda Williams to the global role of Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Reporting to company CEO Christian Ulbrich, she will focus over the next 24 months on identifying comprehensive actions and assessing future leadership investments to accelerate the firm’s DEI culture.
Williams has been with JLL for six years, first as a technology advisor for the Work Dynamics business and most recently as an IT business partner within JLL Technologies. She has worked with dozens of JLL clients across multiple industries, helping them design and implement technology strategies and solutions. She also has been deeply involved in JLL’s DEI initiatives, leading the Empower–Black Professionals Network in the U.S. for several years and founding and heading JLLT’s global diversity and inclusion committee.
Prior to JLL, Williams worked with multinational companies and diverse teams as a business solutions leader at CRSGroup and in technology management roles at Allstate. She also served in a volunteer capacity as the marketing and engagement director for BDPA, an organization focused on developing diverse work professionals and future leaders in IT and STEM.
Bellwether Enterprise Hires Bedwell, Howe in Nashville
Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital LLC, Cleveland, hired Carl Bedwell and Chris Howe as Senior Vice Presidents in Nashville.
Bedwell has more than 25 years of experience in commercial mortgage banking, primarily focused on non-recourse debt placement through his various life insurance company and agency capital relationships, as well as raising institutional equity for both commercial and multifamily projects over the years.
Howe joined BWE with nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and will be responsible for sourcing commercial multifamily debt and equity, primarily in the Southeast region.
Prior to joining BWE, Bedwell and Howe both served as senior vice presidents at Nashville-based Pinnacle Financial Partners, where they helped grow its life company origination and servicing platform, as well as agency lending initiatives.
Lument Hires Leor Dimant as Managing Director
Lument, New York, announced Leor Dimant joined the company as a Managing Director, focusing on originating new business. Dimant has broad experience that covers conventional, seniors and multifamily production.
Dimant joined Lument after working as a Managing Director at Greystone, where he had eight years of experience as a multifamily and healthcare loan originator specializing in HUD, agency and bridge loans. He also served in the Israeli Defense Forces for four years, including time as a member of an elite paratrooper unit. He is based in Miami and will serve clients nationwide.
