Berkadia Adds Eglae Recchia to Innovation Team

Berkadia added Senior Vice President of Product Eglae Recchia to its innovation team. She will report to Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer Damu Bashyam. 

Recchia joined Berkadia from Goldman Sachs, where she served as the Global Head of Digital Products for the Investment Banking Division. There, she led Investment Banking Division digital products and strategic information and was responsible for long-term digital functional roadmaps that brought efficiencies, automations and growth to the investment bank.

Prior to Goldman Sachs, Recchia was at Freddie Mac, serving as Chief Product Owner of Customer Management Tools, where she led the restructuring, vision, strategic alignment and execution of a unified customer engagement platform in Single Family.

JLL Valuation Advisory Group Hires Nik Bex
JLL’s Valuation Advisory group hired Nik Bex as Executive Vice President in its Chicago office. He will focus on driving growth and building the multifamily platform in Chicago and the greater Midwest region.

Bex has more than 10 years of real estate valuation experience with a focus on multi-housing and mixed-use assignments for a variety of conventional, GSE, bridge and institutional lenders. He joined JLL from another leading commercial real estate services firm where he was an integral member of the multifamily valuation group and involved in a wide range of properties from Class A towers to small privately owned projects.

Bex previously worked at JLL as a Senior Analyst at the onset of his career.

Bex will report to Managing Director Aimee Morgan, who co leads JLL Valuation Advisory’s multi-housing practice alongside Managing Director Kai Pan. JLL’s national multi-housing valuation practice has experienced skyrocketing demand and has grown 85% year-over-year.
