Capital One Adds Jonathan Pratt, Rossana Bouchaya and Maggie Burke to its Agency Finance team
Capital One added three new Senior Vice Presidents to its Agency Finance team, Jonathan Pratt, Rossana Bouchaya and Maggie Burke.
Previously Vice President in Berkadia’s Salt Lake City office and senior underwriter on Capital One’s Agency Finance team, Rossana Bouchaya structures financing with competitive terms and reliable execution from quote to closing.
Previously Managing Director at Berkadia Commercial Mortgage and Originations Analyst with Capital One, Jonathan Pratt has originated more than $2 billion in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, balance sheet, debt fund, life company and CMBS financing over the last two years.
Previously Associate Director at Berkadia, Maggie Burke is the Chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s mPact Advisory Committee, member of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s MAA and MORPAC Steering Committees and a member of RENEW and CREW Tampa Bay.
Merchants Capital’s Julie Sharp Appointed to Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition Board of Directors
Merchants Capital, Carmel, Indiana, said Julie Sharp, Senior Vice President of Tax Credit Equity, was appointed to the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition Board of Directors.
The Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition is a leading industry trade organization and advocacy group based in Washington, D.C., focused on advocating on behalf of the Housing Credit to finance affordable housing in the United States. Founded in 1988, the AHTCC seeks to preserve, expand and improve the Housing Credit through legislative and regulatory outreach and education.
Sharp joined Merchants Capital in March 2020. Under her leadership, Merchants has expanded its service offerings to include a robust tax credit equity platform, allowing the company to serve as a full-service financing provider for affordable housing.
As part of the AHTCC Board of Directors, Sharp will serve as an advocate for the Housing Credit on a national stage. She joins a prestigious group, serving alongside some of the country’s top real estate and affordable housing industry professionals.
Sharp is also a board member for the Indiana chapter of the Women’s Affordable Housing Network.
Firestone has held various industry leadership positions, including sitting on the board of and chairing the risk management committee for the Environmental Bankers Association and co-founding a first-of-its-kind “capital at risk” construction interest group. He also co-created the non-profit Consortium for Business and the Environment that seeks to establish specific lending opportunities for middle-market and energy finance lenders.
The EPC service offers Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and Phase II Oversight Management, along with Property Condition Assessments, Zoning Reports, Seismic Studies, ALTA Surveys and Green Evaluations. Adding this new service line expanded JLL’s capabilities to fulfill the full spectrum of client needs by providing a suite of services through a single source of ordering; faster access to high-quality data for engineering, environmental and valuation products; and a non-disruptive and optimized approach for collection of field data.
