American Equity Selects SS&C as Strategic Loan Servicing Partner
SS&C Technologies Holdings Inc., Windsor, Conn., announced American Equity Investment Life Holding Co., West Des Moines, Iowa, will migrate its $5.4 billion commercial, agricultural and residential mortgage loan portfolio to SS&C’s Precision LM loan management software.
Precision LM will support multiple loan types for American Equity, including 800 commercial mortgages and more than 2,000 residential loans. The platform integrates with SS&C’s eCorrespondent platform to improve document collection and collaboration with American Equity’s multiple third-party correspondent loan servicers.
More than 100 bank and non-bank lenders and servicers use Precision LM to support their lending operations.
Cushman & Wakefield Makes $150M Investment in WeWork
Cushman & Wakefield, Chicago, made a $150 million investment in flexible space provider WeWork on October 20.
Cushman & Wakefield Chief Investment Officer & EVP of Strategic Planning, Nathaniel Robinson, will serve as an Observer to WeWork’s Board of Directors.
The two companies recently announced a partnership intended to provide clients with office operations by combining WeWork’s proprietary hospitality and technology-enabled services with Cushman & Wakefield’s asset and facilities management services. Since that announcement, the firms have reported a positive reception from major institutional real estate owners and Fortune 500 occupiers, leading to early pilot program opportunities.
Marcus & Millichap Announces William A. Millichap Fellowship Program
Marcus & Millichap, Calabasas, Calif., announced the William A. Millichap Fellowship Program, a comprehensive two-year training and development program designed to prepare participants for commercial real estate careers.
The search for the inaugural cohort of Winter 2022 Fellows is currently underway.

Interested applicants for this salaried program should be action-oriented, have excellent communication skills and a demonstrated interest in real estate via coursework or related experience. The fellowship will initially be offered in 15 major cities in the U.S. and Canada.
