CBRE Hires Knudsen, Cook to Focus on Credit Tenant Lease Financing

CBRE, Dallas, announced Charlie Knudsen and Julie Cook joined the firm’s investment banking division, CBRE Capital Advisors, to scale up its private placement bond finance business for Credit Tenant Lease financings and other types of asset-backed and leased-backed private placement securities.

Knudsen, who is a founding principal of QuadCapital headquartered in Madison, Wis., and Cook will continue to source transactions from their network of mortgage bankers, brokers and borrowers throughout the country in addition to those originated through CBRE’s global platform. Both will be based in Madison and their securities licenses will be held with CBRE Capital Advisors.

Cook will serve as a Senior Associate with CBRE Capital Advisors. She has more than 25 years of institutional fixed-income securities, structured finance and commercial whole loan investing experience, most recently with QuadCapital, which she joined in 2010.

Knudsen will have dual reports to Brian Stoffers, CMB, and James Scott, Executive Managing Director for CBRE Capital Advisors.

NorthMarq expands Investment Sales platform into St. Louis, Midwest secondary markets

NorthMarq’s multifamily investment sales platform added several investment sales experts in the company’s St. Louis debt & equity office.

Parker Stewart joined the company as Managing Director – Investment Sales to cover St. Louis and Midwest secondary and tertiary markets. Dominic Martinez, associate vice president, and Alex Malzone, senior associate, also joined NorthMarq to focus on multifamily investment sales across the Midwest. They will partner with NorthMarq’s existing debt and equity team led by Jeff Chaney and David Garfinkel, managing directors – debt and equity, in St. Louis, along with the company’s other Midwest debt and equity experts in Chicago, Kansas City, Omaha, and Minneapolis.
