Fannie Mae Promotes Hayward to Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer and Michele Evans to Executive Vice President and Head of Multifamily
Fannie Mae, Washington, D.C., appointed Jeffery Hayward to the newly created position of Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer and Michele Evans as Executive Vice President and Head of Multifamily, effective immediately.
Hayward, previously Head of Fannie Mae’s Multifamily business, will lead Fannie Mae’s Affordable Housing; Environmental, Social and Governance; Human Resources; Diversity & Inclusion and Enterprise Workplace teams. Evans most recently served as Fannie Mae Multifamily Chief Operating Officer.
Hayward joined Fannie Mae in 1987 and has served as Executive Vice President and Head of Multifamily since 2012.
As Fannie Mae Multifamily’s Chief Operating Officer, Evans helped guide Fannie Mae Multifamily’s digital transformation, automate its pricing and underwriting, and launch its credit risk transfer business. She has been with Fannie Mae since 1992.
Davis to Lead Debt Capital Markets for JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group
JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group named Kevin Davis a Senior Managing Director. Based in New York, he will head the debt capital markets efforts for the Americas business and the collaboration between the firm’s Hotels & Hospitality business and JLL’s Capital Markets Group, specifically the loan sales and financing teams.
Davis will continue working closely with the lending community, including banks, life insurance companies, debt funds, mezzanine providers and CMBS lenders as well as institutional owners of commercial real estate within the hotels and hospitality business. He will also continue working closely with the investment sales teams across North America, Latin America and the Caribbean, to ensure connectivity between buyers, sellers and capital funds.
Since joining JLL in 2013, Davis has been involved in more than $20 billion of financings ranging from ground-up construction projects to stabilized properties. Prior to joining JLL, he spent almost a decade as a lender at Merrill Lynch and UBS, where he was involved in sourcing and executing over $7 billion of first mortgage and mezzanine financings for securitization and balance sheets. He also spent three years as a partner and co-founder of FundCore Finance, a high-yield lending platform that made opportunistic investments following the financial crisis.
Walker & Dunlop Expands Property Sales Team with New Hires in Nashville
Walker & Dunlop, Bethesda, Md., expanded its multifamily property sales team in Nashville by adding Managing Director Robbie O’Bryan, Director Brad Boston, Associate Director Laura Youngberg and Senior Analyst Cecilia O’Neal.
O’Bryan, Boston, Youngberg and O’Neal will originate and execute asset and land investment sales as well as raise equity capital for multifamily assets throughout Nashville and surrounding regional markets.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, O’Bryan, Boston, Youngberg and O’Neal were part of the Cushman & Wakefield Multifamily Advisory Group, where they were responsible for multifamily property marketing and sales throughout the Southeast. Together, the team has been directly involved in the sale of over 150 multifamily assets totaling almost 30,000 units with an aggregate sales volume in excess of $1.5 billion.
Sunwest Bank Adds Temby as EVP, Chief Risk Officer
Sunwest Bank welcomed Scott Temby as its new executive vice president and chief risk officer.
Temby will lead risk management across the bank, with areas of compliance, BSA/AML, information security and privacy, foreign correspondent banking, vendor management and audit reporting. Prior to joining Sunwest Bank, Temby held compliance and risk leadership roles for MoneyLion, UBS Bank USA, GE Capital Retail Bank and American Express Bank. Temby’s banking background is complemented by his experience with Protiviti’s Regulatory Team and as a practicing attorney in California and Utah.
